Très bon ! - Edit
J’ai bien aimé les croquettes, la salade, le curry avec le riz, moins l’omelette. On est venu à 14:10, le restaurant n’avait plus de place on a du revenir pour 14:30 (on n’avait pas réservé). Self service en eau.

Excellent Vegan food - Edit
38C today in Tokyo so this air-conditioned restaurant was a great find. We ordered a bento box, a cold soba noodle dish, pancakes and a matcha gateaux. I’ve never had cold noodles before but this was delicious dish with lots of flavour. The bento box was nice. The pancakes were amazing, they were fluffy with fruit, choice of ice cream and whipped cream. OMG the whipped cream was outstanding. The matcha gateau was really light with strong matcha flavour. The staff were very friendly and spoke English. Highly recommend if you are in Tokyo.

Thank you for such a detailed review! Staying cool on a 38°C Tokyo day is exactly what we hope to offer. So glad the cold soba and the soy whipped cream were a hit — and we've passed your kind words on to our Ginza team!

Thank you! Our Heavenly Pancakes are gluten-free and made with almond flour, which gives them that texture you can't find anywhere else. So happy you tried them!

Leckerer Spot in Ginza - Edit

You Have to Try the Pancakes - Edit
We've eaten here multiple times and the pancakes are awesome. It's kind of like a mix of a biscuit and a pancake. Highly recommend. The location is nice and the restaurant spans multiple floors. Definitely worth a visit, and a place that non-vegans will enjoy as much as vegans.

Good, healthy food - Edit
I ordered the spinach curry and was pleased. I needed a veggie-heavy meal, and it hit the spot. My friend got a burger and also said it was great. We were trying to eat Japanese food the whole time we were here, and this was a welcome change-of-pace from rich/salty ramen broth. I would recommend it. I took a star off not because there was anything wrong, everything was great, but I personally reserve 5 stars for places that blow my socks off. This place was very good, but nothing special.

Good cutlet - Edit
I had the vegan cutlet and the tofu omelet. The tofu omelet was pretty blend. TBH, just egg tastes way better. The vegan cutlet was pretty good.

Great presentation, inflexible rules - Edit
I came here with my family and enjoyed the pre-fix dinner which included a salad, soup, bento box, 3 pieces of sushi, and dessert. The soup, salad, and bento were great, the sushi was ok. We were in a private dining area that was tasteful but very cold, but they had blankets.
Read moreWe had a reservation for 6 and one person had to cancel last minute. They charged us 100% cancellation fee for him AND we couldn’t take his food to go, so that was very disappointing.
For the food alone I would have given at least 4 stars!

Really expensive - Edit
Ain Soph is really expensive and bland. There are so many better options, go somewhere else. Try Mos Burger vegan burger, really cheap and good, try Kura Sushi for cucumber, daikon, natto sushi.
Read moreAin Soph are also pretty dirty shops in my opinion, which is crazy for Tokyo. Their desserts are okay though.

Well overpriced - Edit
Vegan pancakes are not pancakes, they taste more likeshortbreads. We had to wait for the food for more than an hour and it didn't arrive all together as we asked. Waitress forgot about our bento box and we didn't even get any discount because of their mistake. It is well overpriced for the quality of the food you get there. There are better places.

A very special experience - Edit
We went all out and had the set course with 9 piece bento. Began with a delicious salad. Then tomato soup. Then the bento box. Then 3 vegetable sushi. And finally vanilla and chocolate soy ice cream. Came with coffee or tea and cookies at the end. Expensive but worth it. I was so full.

My partner (not vegan) and I both got the pancake sets and agreed it was the best pancakes we've had! They came with a lot of fresh fruit, jam, syrup, and ice cream that was some of the best vegan ice cream I've had!

3.5 stars - Edit
Place was good but not somewhere I would look forward to going back to. Soufflé pancakes aren’t airy like you’d expect, reminded me more of a fluffy biscuit or soft cookie type of pancake.
Read moreYou walk into the small shop & order. Then they ask you to walk up to whichever floor is available for seating. Because of this layout, you do have to wait a while if you need a water refill. Once you’re done eating you walk back down to pay.
Portions are small which is expected in Japan but it’s definitely been my most expensive meal of the trip at $44 for a bento box, extra order of karage(5pcs/$4), and single order of pancakes(2 palm size pancakes 2tbs of ice cream).
Pros: Matcha ice cream, it’s less sweet so I loved it, Small hummus like side in the bento box, Dressing on salad
Cons: Some items like tofu omelette were lacking flavor

If you want a truly memorable vegan experience, this place is a must! While the Heavenly Vegan Pancakes with seasonal fruits and soy whip are delightful, my absolute favorite was the bento with 9 different exquisite dishes accompanied by a delicious little soup. Every item was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.
